jesse is so funny sometimes

Jesse looks like she is mad!  Woof!  I am not sure if she is serious or mad at me!  Woof!  Woof!  Maybe I will just sit over here for a minute!  Woof!  Daddy says she wants to play!

Wait….what is that?   You want to play?  Ok!  Let’s go!  Jesse is so funny sometimes!  Woof!

Come see us at Lone Star Bavarian  and you can play too!

why do dogs eat grass

I do so love grass!  I could eat grass all day long!  I only wish I was a cow!  Woof!  Daddy says that cows can’t work at Lone Star Bavarian, so I guess I am glad I’m not a cow!  Why do dogs eat grass?  Grass contains essential nutrients that a dog might crave, especially if they’re on a commercial diet.  So when I eat grass it is just to supplement my diet!  Woof! Woof!  Come see me at Lone Star and I will share my pasture with you!

now where is that wrench?

Daddy says that I can be a big help in the shop…sometimes!  Bruce is working on putting new brakes on a Mercedes-Benz CLS .  Where is that Cornwell wrench?  Woof! You should only use the correct tools when working on these cars. I want to help Bruce fix this car!  Woof!  Woof!  What?  Daddy says “NO” !  Daddy says that is not what he meant!  Daddy says I can’t work on cars because our customers deserve the very best and I am not trained as a mechanic!  UGH!  Woof!  I guess I am always going to be just a greeter!  Woof!  That is ok because  I love my job!  Woof!  Come see me at Lone Star Bavarian and I will be sure to give you some love!

Mercedes anti lock brake maintenance

Daddy’s car says servicing BMW/Benz/Mini! What is a Benz?  Woof!  Daddy says it is a nickname for Mercedes-Benz.  Did you know that your Mercedes ABS brake system consists of a control unit, pump, relay, and speed sensors. It is a very reliable system that can give you years of trouble free service.  Woof!

The pulsation you feel in the pedal is from the anti-lock brake system detecting a wheel lock up condition and pulsating the fluid to the front calipers to correct the lock up condition. If this pulsation is occurring on gentle braking, when the wheels are not in fact locked up, the culprit is usually the front ABS sensors.  If you are noticing problems, bring your Mercedes to Lone Star Bavarian and we can service it for you!  In the meantime, there are a few steps you can take to keep your brakes trouble free.

  1. Make sure you change your brake fluid at recommended intervals.
  2. Clean your front Mercedes ABS brake sensors when you have your wheels off and are replacing your brakes and rotors.
  3. Check the wiring from the front ABS sensors to where it connects to the harness underneath the hood.

If you continue to have the pedal pulsating problem after cleaning the front ABS sensors it may be time to replace them.   Woof!  I hope to see you at Lone Star Bavarian for your next checkup!

I am starving!

I’m starving! Woof!  Grandpa wouldn’t let me eat Jesse’s food too!  Woof!  Hey what is this?  Oh Wow!  I smell food!  Woof!  Why would anyone call this garbage?  Oh and look…there is bubble wrap!  I love bubble wrap!  Come see me at Lone Star Bavarian and I will share my treat! Woof!  Oh no, here comes Daddy…see you later!

dogs love sun…but cars do not

I love basking in the warm rays of sun that shins through the front door of our shop.  Woof!  While the sun is a wonderful thing and very pleasing while sitting inside, it can be menacing to your high-end auto.  Woof!

Daddy says that the sun does not like cars and it can cause damage to the paint .  So what are people  suppose to do to protect their car?  Woof!  Daddy says that people should park indoors if possible, use a good car cover, and more importantly they should use a good wax protection.   If you are concerned about your car’s paint, check with us next time you’re in the shop.  We can suggest a good Griot’s Garage product that is just right.    Woof!  Daddy also says that if your car paint is already damaged, we can recommend our paint and body guy, Paint by Steve’s, who does a wonderful job!

I will make sure your car is taken care of if you come see me at Lone Star Bavarian!

Do you mind, I am trying to sleep?

Do you mind?   Woof!  I am trying to sleep!  Woof!  Woof!  It has been a long week in the shop!  And it is Friday, so now I get a little sleep!  Woof! Woof! So get that camera out of here!  Woof! Woof!  I need my beauty sleep!  Woof!  Come see me at Lone Star Bavarian and we can snuggle!
