Stolen Dog Returned~!

I can’t believe someone would steal a puppy!  Woof! Woof!  Daddy showed me this story about a family that got their dog back!  Woof!

Fort Worth Couple, Reunited With Stolen Dog, Plan to Press Charges Against Reddit Petnapper

By Eric NicholsonFri., Dec. 13 2013 at 10:34 AM

dogthedogsaverIt’s been a traumatic and deeply strange week for Crawford and Mary Clay Gupton. After last week’s ice storm, someone sawed the lock off the gate of their Fort Worth backyard and stole Heidi, their greater Swiss mountain dog. Then the thief, using the handle dogthedogsaver, took to Reddit to taunt the Guptons.

“Hi there Asshole,” the thief wrote in their original post before attacking the Guptons for leaving their dog outside for hours in cold, icy weather and more generally allowing it to live in squalor and neglect. “Heidi is so much happier now. She whines at the door when her new daddy leaves, has a huge back yard to play in and two other dogs her size to play around with. Oh, and she has a doggie door so she can go in and out whenever she wants.”

My new friend, Mercedes!

This is my friend Merecedes!  She came to live with us a few weeks after Jesse died!  I was really sad about Jesse but it was nice to have a new friend.  Woof!  Daddy says she is only one year old and someone mistreated her so she came and found us.  Woof!  Which is true because she just showed up at the shop one day and Daddy took her in to the doctor.  She was very sick but the doctor made her all better!  Woof!  Woof!

She is now working at the shop with me too!  She is an Assistant Greeter, so I am training her to do the best greeting job ever!  Woof!  Woof!  Daddy says we can to sit by the door and wait for people to come visit today! Usually our training sessions go on in Daddy’s office because Merecedes is still learning!  Woof!  Woof!  Don’t we look like spooky dogs?   Come see us at Lone Star Bavarian!

what couch?

What? I am just sitting here! Woof! Woof! Daddy says dogs aren’t allowed on the couch! Woof! That just makes me mad! Dogs should be able to sit wherever people sit! Woof! Daddy says this couch is for clients only! No dogs! Well I didn’t want to sit on that couch anyways! Woof! I am just minding my own business! Woof! Did you know that the back seat of a BMW X5 is just as comfortable as a couch? Woof! I should know because mommy lets me sit in hers! Woof! Woof! Come see me at Lone Star Bavarian and I bet daddy will let you sit on our couch!

why do dogs eat grass

I do so love grass!  I could eat grass all day long!  I only wish I was a cow!  Woof!  Daddy says that cows can’t work at Lone Star Bavarian, so I guess I am glad I’m not a cow!  Why do dogs eat grass?  Grass contains essential nutrients that a dog might crave, especially if they’re on a commercial diet.  So when I eat grass it is just to supplement my diet!  Woof! Woof!  Come see me at Lone Star and I will share my pasture with you!

How important is my OBD?

The EPA has regulations in place establishing requirements for on-board diagnostic (OBD) systems on light-duty vehicles and light-duty trucks beginning with the 1994 model year. The purpose of the OBD system is to assure proper emission control system operation for the vehicle’s lifetime by monitoring emission-related components and systems for deterioration and malfunction.

Vehicle manufacturers had to develop ways to diagnose problems generated by the new electronic hardware found under the hood. Thus, the first OBD systems were developed by auto manufacturers in the early 1980’s as electronic systems replaced mechanical systems.

The engines in today’s vehicles are largely electronically controlled, with sensors and actuators that sense the operation of specific components (e.g., the oxygen sensor) and actuate others (e.g., the fuel injector) to maintain optimal engine control. An on-board computer, known sometimes as a “powertrain control module” or an “engine control unit,” controls all of these systems. With proper software, the on-board computer is capable of monitoring all of the sensors and actuators to determine whether they are working as intended and to notify you when they are not working correctly. So make sure you don’t ignore your Check engine light because it is an important component in keeping your car running smoothly! And if your car has a warning light showing, bring it to Lone Star Bavarian to have it diagnosed
